DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Classic bait and switch scam. I paid $100 for the spot trace and $100 for the first year of service only to come up on 11 months and have the rate raised to $164! If this was a perfect device then I would consider that astronomical jump but to be honest, it's pretty bad at best. Just look up the app in the app store and check out the reviews for more verification. I'll give you a hint, they're terrible. The tracker does work but it drains batteries like nobody's business (even with Energizer Lithium batteries). I get about 3 months at the 5 minute increment which is nowhere near what they claim. Changing the batteries is also a pain since you need a glasses size screwdriver and you need to keep track of 4 microscopic black screws that hold the back on. There are many other options out there, especially when you start getting into the new price of their service. Thanks for nothing SPOT.
