I purchased this trash can and it has been terrible ever since. The trash can was initially tough to get the lid onto the can itself from the start and within 6 months the trash can permanently deformed resulting in the total inability to place the lid back onto it. I attempted to contact the seller about this and they have not responded or refuse to respond. Do not buy!
