This is a very nice looking item with a sturdy heavy platform. The problem is the suction cup do not hold it. The item was installed per directions on a clean, dry window. However this perch fell with my cat on it and hit her cause her to have some sort of internal bleeding issue as she began pooping blood and yelping in pain. We have had her to the vet and she is on medicine to hopefully help and I will be taking her back again tomorrow. This item seriously injured my cat and I do not recommend it for use. *update: After the second visit to the vet X-rays were taken showing the full extent of the damage. The force of the item falling on her Lucxated her pelvis from her spine. She will be on pain meds and sadly is kept cooped up in a kennel for 6-8 weeks until healed. I will say customer care (June) reached out to me immediately and wanted to understand what happen and what could be done differently to keep this from happening again. I think the suction cups need to revised or possibly, the owner would, need to check the tightness of the suction several times a day? I am not sure. I truly feel the customer care team cares and wants to ensure this does not happen again to another cat. They refunded my purchase and also sent my kitty a cushy bed in hopes to help her pain while recovering; which I think was very kind. I do not think this company was negligent and they do care. I wish this whole situation never happened.
