Either this developer has no regard whatsoever for good programming etiquitte on Android (read: request no permissions you do not actually need or use) OR this is one of the most malicious apps I have ever seen as a FAOTD. Either way, NO THANK YOU.... NOT EVEN FOR FREE! P.S. Popup ads?? In a paid app no less? Are you serious? What is this dev smoking? UPDATE: It seems that the developer has now changed the permissions for this application only but not for any of the others that they have made. Therefore, I still remain suspect of their intentions. And besides, this application as it sits now still has more permission than it needs. Full internet access? Why? All they have to do is read all of the global/sticky intents and then upload to another server (after all, you gave them permission did you not?) and they're getting our personal data anyway. Since the game itself does not need internet access for anything then why is that permission there still? I will tell you why, it is because this developer cannot be trusted. Now, as for the developer removing only SOME of the blatant harmful permissions (but not all) I have this to say: I think they did it only because this is the free app of the day and we're calling him out. These insane permissions still exist in ALL of the other apps that this developer makes. And once this app is no longer the free app of the day the developer will probably just put the removed ones back. Without an actual statement from the developer that they will not do this anymore (I'm also watching their other games to make sure they do the same to them and so far they have not) I can't trust them. And you shouldn't either. And therefore, all of my previous warnings about this developer still stand. I highly recommend avoiding this developer. Even their free apps. They are probably even more of a violation than the paid ones.
