Okay, I am not sure how someone could say that this book was "so amazing". I had to force myself to finish the darn thing. Lucas was a jerk for 98% of the book and forced the female character, Amy, into everything she did. How can someone think that people want to read a book where the hero says threatening statements to the heroine such as, "if you don't marry me I will take custody of our child and have some other women raise it" and there were plenty more of those statements throughout most of the book. I felt bad for all woman kind! I do not understand how the author, as a woman, could have her character endure such atrocious treatment from a man and have her say how in love she is with the man. It was truly one of the worst books I have ever read. I know it takes a lot to write a book and kudos for the author for writing, but I could never enjoy a "romance" book where the male character treats the woman like complete crap and she acts like he is amazing!! Save your 3 bucks for something else!
