This was a great disappointment. It took a ridiculous amount of time to snap the bowl onto the base - despite numerous attempts. Also ,should you want to chop/shred anything, you have to attach a tube like device to the underside of the blade. This is another waste of time. We have a Cuisinart food processor that is 27 yrs. old. The only thing wrong with it is that the plastic parts (the bowl /feed tube) are developing hair line cracks. The bowl has always snapped easily and securely in place; the chopper/shredder blades come with a tube attached... which makes much greater sense It is almost as if someone who never used one of these machines, designed these new additions to the current version of Cuisinart..I'm returning it and will look for another brand.
