I walk on concrete, 10 hours a day. I am a material handler and an assembler in a factory. I regularly clock 6 to 13 miles per day, sometimes more. I recently purchased Red Wings steel toed shoes (second time I bought the same model and they are amazing), their inserts are absolutely worthless for what I do for a living, so I go in search of something different. I thought I would give these a try, the rating seemed to warrant a look see. I was hoping they would provide a bit of extra cushioning support. Maybe mine were defective, but they caused severe pain in my right heel and arch. I have high arches, so it's not like I have flat feet. I wore them on Monday, changing to my old insoles half way through my 10 hour shift due to severe heel pain. I write this review on Friday and my foot remains painful. I am not convinced.
