Purchased this at the end of December, and it was delivered by JB Hunt on January 6; no problems with the delivery, they called ahead and 2 guys carried it inside for me, no signs of damage to the box at all. The assembly is time consuming and you need to pay attention, but it is not overly difficult. The instructions are pretty clear, but attention to the diagrams is warranted. After assembly is when the fun began. I plugged the unit it...and nothing. Console never cut on. I saw some reviews that mentioned the cable connections can be finicky, so I took it back apart and made sure all of the connections were firmly attached and couldn't pull out. Re-assembled the unit, and still nothing. I called the customer support number (all the menus say bowflex), and after waiting on hold for quite a while was able to talk with someone. Went through some basic steps with the lady on the phone (she wasn't very familiar with this particular model), who then contacted someone else in technical support, and decided that all 3 cables and the mainboard inside the base of the elliptical should be replaced. She put the parts on order for me, and stated that one would be shipping immediately, arriving in 5-7 business days, and the other parts were backordered until end of January, and I should receive them beginning of February. The first part never came. February came and the backordered parts never showed up either. I called Schwinn and was on hold for over 30 minutes without ever reaching anyone so I emailed them. They responded 2 days later saying the parts were backordered until the end of February, and won't arrive here until March. So to sum it up, if I wait until parts arrive (if they ever do arrive), it will have been broken for 2 months without me even being able to try it and see if I like it or not, and whether it gives a good workout. I'm very tempted to just send it back to amazon at this point. The elliptical looks like it should be a great machine, and it seems to be built well. But when the company makes you wait for months to fix a problem from the factory, it does not project a great deal of confidence. I will update this review if I keep the elliptical and actually receive the replacement parts...
