I have had this bottle for over a year and besides being too large to fit in MOST cup holders, it's great for camping hiking or even just daily use. I made the mistake of running it over with my car but to my disbelief it was only scratched. Not even a dent! Nalgene rocks USA! USA! USA! Five stars.
Update April 2015
The bottle broke on me today. It was full of water and I dropped it from a height of no more than two feet, it cracked completely near the lid. Get a camelback podium Big Chill instead, it is so much better and the insulation is bar none. I ordered it around the same time and I use it daily on bike rides and it has yet to show any signs of wear or damage. You wont spend your afternoon mopping the floor and picking up ice cubes. So what if Nalgene is made in America? If it does not last whats the point? Skip this product.
