Product is faulty. After proper charging this vacuum does not work. It will turn on and run for about 5 seconds and then a "green" light briefly appears before the unit shuts down completely. This happens on a brand new machine. There is nothing in the operations manual about a "green" light in place of the normal "blue" light that indicates charging status. Call to Dyson to request replacement two weeks ago has resulted in no action. Call to Dyson today revealed no record of my initial call. I was now given a UPS return number, and must go to a UPS store to return the unit to Dyson. This is a great inconvenience. I have owned the device since November 10th and have not been able to use it. I cannot recommend this product and am disappointed in the Service response that I received from Dyson.
