So we had this cage for about 4 months with no problems. It showed up with some broken pieces, but whatever, it was doable. There is a small gap between the wheel and the top of the cage and the front removable plastic. That is where our dwarf hamster got caught. We came home and my daughter thought she was sleeping in a funny spot. In reality our hamster was strangled to death. She had gotten her head stuck in between the above mentioned gap and we found her hanging from her neck which was stuck in that gap. Please DO NOT PURCHASE this cage it will eventually kill your hamster. I will be addressing this with the company, but I'm almost positive nothing will be done.
