After washing it thoroughly and boiling some water in it and washing it thougrougly again, I wiped it with a paper towel and as shown in the picture it is still releasing disturbing dark metal stains. I don’t know where could it come from or how could it happen, but I don’t consider safe for use at least for the one I received. Very light weight, of course. It consists of a single thin layer of stainless steel. While stainless steel is not a good heat conductor, its thinness counters and makes this pan heats up at a decent speed. However on a ceramic range it does not heat evenly as I would assume better on gas range. It is easy to clean as most stainless steel does. Nothing too drastic or bad about cleaning. But like I mentioned in my main concern, the releasing black metallic stain is a HUGE concern. For durability it is very very well made for what it is made of and you can see the quality of the craftsmanship. However I only give 3 star for durability as it is not as durable as something wholly stainless steel with riveted SS handles and thicker. Overall it is a beautifully designed pan and for its design it is decent. However its safety concern raised the red flag for me.
