I really was looking forward to receiving these laces. Nice idea and nice looking if you can get them "installed" and to stay put. I do have neuropathy in my fingers and blamed that for my difficulty in getting the stubby anchor part of the laces through the eyelets of my sneakers. Ahhh, but my rugged and manly husband had some trouble too. I take a women's 6.5 for a shoe size. No matter what I tried, the dang laces kept popping off. Over and over again. I am not an athlete - no running or sports activities to stress the laces. A marathon for me is walking to the mailbox and back. I do most of my "walking" in a wheelchair. And yes - the dang laces popped off while wheeling around. Perhaps I was sitting too vigorously? I had purchased elasticized shoelaces when I ordered these. What a difference! Easy to lace, easy to adjust, easy to slip sneakers on. I do wish they were nice n' wide like the Homar laces. The elasticized laces stay tied and don't suddenly snap off - even when I sit with my every bit of energy.
