My buttocks are happy. (EDIT AT BOTTOM)
Original Post: I got this chair to replace an old office chair that decided to shed its fake pleather skin... everywhere. You wouldn’t believe the places I’ve found that stuff. Also after several years my butt made quite the “impression “ on it and well... goodbye chair padding. I’m a bigger gal I’ll admit, so I couldn’t raise the chair height anymore... trying just turned it into a weird amusement park ride where you’re confused if you had a good time or not and if the equipment was safe. But now, the moment you’ve been waiting for. I had some doubts about the mesh back, as that was a fashion statement in the late 80’s and I wasn’t sure the chair could “rock” it. Turns out it’s pretty great when the air conditioning fails and you’ve got a fan behind you. I’ve had this thing for a weekend... still like it... that’s longer than my last boyfriend stayed in my good graces. Anyhoo, it was easy to put together but slightly awkward... would have been much faster and easier if The Rock was included for assembly but beggars can’t be choosers. The cushion is nice. My butt seems to enjoy it much better than the last chair. It felt like it was cheating on good ole rusty the office chair but it forgot about that peeling delinquent rapidly. I do wish the back of the chair could lean back though... my ceiling feels neglected if I don’t give it a hard stare every so often. The whole chair will tilt but not just the back. I like how you can adjust the lumbar support as well, great feature on 80’s mesh stylist chair. The arms though. Dear lawd. Why no padding? My elbows hurt something fierce sometimes... and sometimes my arms go numb which makes video gameing awkward.... I mean, imagine it. Intense battle, everyone is fighting for their lives and the hot elf is just standing there being useless because her arms went numb. I’ll be getting some armchair pads to help with this so my teammates have a functioning elf that doesn’t have noodle arms. Other than that, good chair! Also the arms are adjustable, very... handy. I’d take a photo but that requires getting dressed in case there’s a sneaky reflection somewhere and I’m honestly too lazy and dressed for bed already. The existing photos in other reviews are spot on though. Also the seat is nice and wide for my big bottom, larger than the average office chair. No pinching in weird places. EDIT! September 8th, 2019 I return! Having put some mileage into this chair I thought I'd update ya! It does make small noises now, nothing to get excited over really as I hardly notice it. My butt has formed an imprint upon the cushion which is very noticeable. I will likely have to buy a cushion as the chair ages. Overall it seems to have held up well. I did purchase Arm rest covers for the arms as they were quite hard! They greatly helped and only cost about $10. Overall, I'm still happy with this chair! July 7th, 2021 The pole part that lifts your chair up and down... piston? Not sure what it's called. Anyway I reached out to the seller to see if the part is sold separately so I could fix it, and this was their response: Sorry for the inconvenience,we do not sell the part separately. Best Regards,Hnna Customer Support Team. I'm pretty disappointed, as a short person it was amazing and now my desk is almost higher than my boobs. I don't want to have to fork out $200 every two years just for a new chair. (I don't make much money either, so it would break my bank for months.) I lowered my 5 star rating just because of that customer service response.
