My previous review is below. But, I'm re-reviewing this item because the meter recently stopped working and dealing with the Company was frustrating to say the least. I purchased this meter in January and in June it stopped working. I use the meter everyday for pH'ing water and nutrient solutions for my plants. One day the meter wouldn't settle on a read in a nutrient solution. It kept fluctuating all while the "smiley face" was showing - which means the meter is is displaying the accurate pH read. But, while the smiley is there it just keeps reading and dropping. I calibrated the darn thing about 4 times and when put in the calibration solutions it would give a steady read. Add it back to any solutions; spring water, well water, nutrients and it just fluctuates. It never settles on a pH range anymore it just keeps dropping until the battery saver shuts the meter off. It was beyond the Amazon return period so I contacted Apera. We tried to trouble shoot it on the phone. I explained everything in detail to the company. They said it's still under warranty and had me ship it to them for repairs and testing. I paid to ship it. I hear nothing from them. I contacted them about the meter and they basically said, oh we mailed it back. It's working fine we calibrated it. I finally receive the meter back and it's still broken because obviously they didn't address the issue. I wrote them back and they stopped responding so I let Amazon know and thankfully they kindly offered me a return. Buyer BEWARE "I highly recommend this PH meter. It's a very easy to use, state of the art meter. It gives super accurate readings, it's simple to calibrate and the kit comes with starter sizes of the the items you'll need for storage and calibration. I use my PH60 everyday for horticulture applications."
