Received a Nuwave Brio Air Fryer 6 qt as a gift....It cooks very well and I would use it quite often to cut down on frying with grease. However, after using it one time the Base tray button did not release the Fry Pan Basket because it was stuck....Instead of returning the Air Fryer, It was exchanged for another one....I thought the first one was just defective. However, after receiving the 2nd replacement Nuwave Brio, the same problem occurred. The Fry pan basket would not release from the Base tray. Therefore, this is obviously a defect in the manufacturing style of the product....so now, I have a defective NUWAVE BRIO 6QT AIR FRYER that is defective....due to the manufacturing process. Which is too bad because I like the way the Air Fryer cooks. Have to rate it as 1 due to the manufacturing defect...The unit is New and the same problem occurred with 2 units. as one can see.from the photo...the Nuwave cooks very well..I cooked a turkey breastfeeding which turned out beautifully...however, with defective basket, it is hard to clean the basket and fry pan.... Update; 8-19-17....Food gets stuck at the bottom if base tray even when the bottom is sprayed with oil...bottom should have been made "non-stick....the basket is starting to peel inside cooking basket within only about 4 months...not healthy since i don't know what chemicals are underneath the lining that has peeled off..Photo attached of the peeling basket....This is the 3rd Nuwave Air Fryer because of product defects....if not for defects it cooks food well except food sticks to bottom.
