Had the monitor for less than three months. Great monitor love the colors and 165hz refresh with gsync. After that time ran into image retention or as ASUS calls it "rippled display". So basically you leave something like a browser on the screen for over 5 minutes it ends up having what looks like image burn in the screen. If you move onto something else it goes away after a while but the next thing is burned in. You'll even switch inputs from display port to HDMI and you see what was on the display port input on the HDMI input. I contacted ASUS since I couldn't return through Amazon. They wanted me to send it in so I did which cost me $88 to ship. They recieved it on a Thursday night 2 weeks later. Friday night they sent it back out. Received it another week later. Problem still there like they did nothing to it. Contacted ASUS again went through many emails and for some reason they had my address and phone number wrong even though it was right on the shipping label. Went through many emails to correct the info. Even after sending my info multiple times they still got it wrong. That was finally straightened out and they gave me a shipping label to send it back. Sent it back. A week and a half later they receive it on another Thursday night. They send it back Friday night again. Just received it today a week later and the problem still isn't fixed. Sent them a novel of an email. Trying to get my money back for the monitor and for them to send me a shipping label to send it back. I used to be a firm believer in ASUS products and service for over 10 years and I heard online that the service and quality control went down the drain in the past 5 years on many forums and reviews. Now I can see what they meant and this now has turned me away from the ASUS name. Other than all this BS it is a nice monitor. Will update on the next adventure with trying to get my money back.
