This is a disappointment, to say the least. I love the concept of having removable the plates to make it easier to clean and having plates that have a grill on one side and the griddle plate made it more appealing. Problem is it doesn't drain properly it should drain to the middle into the drip tray but instead it drips onto the edge of the drip channel and some goes into the tray and some ends up draining under the plate then the heating element burns the drippings and the smoke is unreal. The drippings that go under the plates ends up also dripping down inside the base its and then after it cools and you tilt it to wipe it down, oil is leaking out from everywhere. I can only imagine this is on the wires in the base and the element this has to be a fire hazard. The entire set up seems to be more of a mess maker than anything else.
