I was quite disappointed with this product for the following reasons. (1) Device is large. I was used to an older Tens unit that fit into my shirt or pants pocket without issue. This device however, is quite large (especially long)...about the size of a very large TV remote. (2) Device is underpowered. May I recommend that you only buy a Tens unit requiring 9-volt batteries. This one needs 4 AAA batteries and performance suffers as a result--the device can not deliver as much charge as I am used to. I have to always set it to maximum in order to receive any therapy from it. (3) Locked settings, and NO continuous setting. A good Tens unit allows the user to fine tune the width and length of the waves. This one has ONLY presets and they are ridiculous. The worst part for me though, is that you cannot set the device on continuous. So your therapy is constantly stopping after 11 minutes over and over again. Seriously folks, stay clear from this one. While it is priced cheap (hence the second star in this rating), you end up getting what you pay for. Stick with any of the 9-volt type of products that allow you to fine tune the wave settings that are comfortable for you personally, and also allow you to decide when your session should end, rather than the device deciding that for you.
