The Velcro itself may be strong, but without adhesive the Velcro is useless. I’ve tried using these three times now: once on a smooth plastic surface; a second time on metal; and a third on canvas. Each time, the adhesive on the course side stuck to the surface just fine. But the softer side has such poor adhesive that it quickly began to fall off each time. If the soft side stuck for more than a couple of seconds, I tried securing the two Velcro pieces together. But when I pull the two sections apart, the soft side comes away from whatever surface it’s been stuck to. What is the point to having industrial strength velcro if I have to sew the flipping soft side it everything?! Beyond frustrating. Won’t purchase again.
