Ive used this chair on several outdoor trips and the following are my observations: The Good: -- Reasonably comfortable. -- Plenty big and wide for a big guy. -- The arms slide up and down to customize the fit a bit. -- It just squeezes together, long and narrow, makes it easy to tuck the back of the vehicle to transport. -- The cup holder may hold a can but it really not large enough for most cups. THE VERY VERY BAD!!!!!!! -- After about 6 uses the chair broke at the arm and leg intersection and a short time after that a 2nd chair I purchased shortly thereafter also broke....in an identical way.. -- There is a hole drilled through the tube to allow a joint to swivel and the metal tube snapped at that weak spot. -- A very poor design and that type of joint by its nature removes the integrity of the metal tube significantly reducing the strength and integrity of the chair. -- There was no reinforcement integrated at that joint to account for the loss of strength caused by punching hole through the tube. -- Luckily the failure did not cause me to tumble off the chair into the campfire. CONCLUSION: Due the poor design and resulting structural failure I can only give this chair the lowest rating and would not recommend to buy. Purchased through Amazon they did provide a refund and also offered a replacement but I choose the refund.
