this thing sounds like a lawnmower when the compressor kicks on. I already have one of them. i thought these units were quiet. that is why I went with the "consumer reports" number one model. well ? . here we are. I went from a 12000btu that sounds like a cement mixer , to worse, a 6000btu lawn mower. cant anyone make an a/c unit that wont wake the dead while you sleep ?
