I ordered it in February, just got it yesterday (April 9). Pros: It is definitely cute, and definitely is has the makings of a good idea. Cons: It fails in a couple of ways... It is far smaller than it looks in the picture (yeah, I know look at the description, but I thought it was a LADLE, for, you know, soup pots!) The handle is flexible, so if you load up the scoop with chili, like we did last night, the handle flexes and makes it somewhat precarious. It is not a single serving ladle, you've got to load it up at least 3 times to get a single serving for actual people, not stick people. It is light, too light to stand on its 'feet' in a pot, won't stay upright on a spoon holder, ergo you get a mess to clean up if you stand it on the counter - and because it is light, the slightest puff of air or a busy elbow knocks it over. More mess! I would LOVE to see a big brother to Nessie, that is heavier, not flexible and will stand up on the bottom of a pot of soup. Cap'n Jan
