So, I bought a PH meter, and decided to test it out: Tap water: 7.4 Tap water through a new filter: 7.4 Tap water through the filter that was six weeks old with light use: .91 Yes, .91. Using a PH chart, you'll see that .91 is in the lemon juice to battery acid range. So, once your filter is past its life, you're drinking highly acidic water, well below that of Coke (2.5). We've all seen the videos of what soda does to enamel. How can this be sold without a warning label?
