So in honesty these do work. They are a good weight to keep an umbrella in place. But the bad thing is that the seller intentionally misleads customers on what it looks like. In the photo it looks like the decorative part is not solid and the actual product is just one solid piece from a mold. Doesn't look awful, I just hate sellers doing this kind of thing and counting on customers not wanting to deal with the return process when they don't get what they expected. I ordered two, here is what they really look like.
