WARNING - If you live in a hot or stick climate do NOT purchase for your kiddo. We live in New Mexico (high 90s to 100s June-Aug.) These ear plugs were working well for our 8 year old son and they were user friendly as he was able to place them himself and remove them himself till we used them on a very hot day and fragments of these putty buddies go stuck in his ears and migrated down to his ear canal adhering to the wall of his ear and over his ear drum where they melted and now have to be surgically removed as it is covering his ear drum and ear tubes. Our ENT stated not to use these in hot climates as they melt and do the damage they have now done. We go for surgery in two days to have these scraped out of his ears and check the placement of his ear tubes.
