The cable stop working on my camera DVR in August. I have been trying for 2 months to get my iPhone camera app to connect and I kept getting errors that my DVR was not connected to my router well, it’s plugged in. Spent an hour on 10/11/2020 with my camera system tech support. After them accessing my router, I was not connected . I plugged an old 5CAT cable into the DVR and all my apps work,my email account activated, etc. Therefore,I would not buy nor recommend this Ethernet cable. I need to contact the company for a refund as there should be a guarantee on this cable. I could get a refund. I feel like I wasted money on this cable. On 10/14/2020, I also tested this Ethernet cable by plugging into my desktop computer, my Dell work laptop computer and my HP laptop. This cable did not provide power to any of these devices for wired internet services.
