Keeping my hair as healthy as possible, and preserving certain hair styles, makes a satin bonnet or scarf a necessity. Cotton tends to cause breakage due to the tension on the hair. Sometimes I use silk pillow cases, however, I also switch it up with bonnets. This style is not my favourite. My hair is long and thick, this bonnet was simply too small, and as a result, wasn't very effective at preserving different styles. Perhaps those with short hair would benefit from this bonnet.
