Pykal's product claims were very misleading. They advertise as "Glass Water Pitcher with THICKER Heat Resistant Borosilicate Glass." However my old pitcher is 3 times thicker and even my drinking glasses are thicker than this glass. I only had it for 16 days and used it twice. It cracked when my husband was rising it out with hot water from our tap which maxes out at 120 degrees. Pykal's description says "Premium Glassware that withstands sharp temperature variation of anywhere between 0℉ to 300℉, so you can take it out of the Fridge and pour boiling water in it directly." Apparently tap water was too much for their "extra thick heat resistant glass." Don't waste your money like I did.
