This is a very expensive toothpaste- but I am willing to pay even $16 for a tube of toothpaste if it will help with my extremely sensitive teeth. However great it may be as a toothpaste, it presented another unforeseen problem—causing dermatitis around my mouth and nose because it contains SLS as a foaming agent. Not everyone is sensitive to foaming agents but my skin goes into a full dermatitis nightmare when I use facewash or toothpaste with it. So, I am disappointed to report that this toothpaste is basically unusable for me. Maybe this review will encourage the company to remove the SLS like many other brands have done.
