Read before you buy, this may not be right for your application.
I read this weed mat will allow water to soak through, which is what you want of course for the health of the soil, water sheds and gardens. This is as water tight as a rain jacket! As you can see in the pics water pools and beads on top. That was from very brief water on 1/4 open to water 7 tiny bean plants we just planted. The pictures were taken 15 minutes after water got on paper! We have laid all 150’ and put bark on top. Now what am i todo? All the bark will float away along with lots of money and a months worth of work! I am extremely unhappy with this product. I figured Scott’s was a trusted name brand. I even read the questions posted here and it clearly says water will soak in and penatrate. It has now been 45 minutes and paper is still covered with pooled water and large beads of water. And mind you that was probably 3 gallons of water over a 5’x10’ raised bed. I will never buy Scott’s brand of anything ever again. There should be warnings, soak in rates, clearly stated. Just because something is #1 selling doesn’t mean it’s #1. That’s a good rule of thumb I guess I need to heed.
