Received the scale today and the dial would not move to "0". There is no manual button or dial to move the scale to zero. We let the scale sit for a couple of hours in hopes that it would reset itself to zero. It did not. Every time I stepped onto the scale and then off, the dial settled in between 2 lbs - 4 lbs. We contacted the manufacturer, Conair, and were told that the scale will always start between 1-5 lbs, not zero. I find this unacceptable for a scale and will return it to Amazon.
