I purchased this bag in February, 2017 and as of June, 2017 noticed a hole the size of a silver dollar along the stitching of the main zipper door. Upon contacting Travelpro for a repair covered under warranty, I was referred to a "local" repair facility that was over a 3.5 hour drive away. Upon contacting the repair facility, I was told that I would need to cover all shipping fees both ways, as well as pay a $25 flat fee for shipping the bag in, rather than carrying it in myself. Let me be clear. I like this bag. The build quality of the zippers, wheels and telescoping handle all look and feel very nice. I'm sure my issue is a one-off occurrence (at least I hope it is). I'd also be happy to pay for shipping if this bag was over a few years old and had seen a lot of use over the years. I refuse, however, to pay a $25+shipping "surcharge" for a bag that was purchased only a few months ago, and has only seen 3-4 trips. I chose travelpro specifically to avoid this type of hassle. I give the bag itself 4 stars, because I do believe the whole is a factory defect, but due to my experience with customer service, I'm bumping my overall rating for Travelpro to 1 star.
