Maybe this works for some folks, but not us. Hard to believe they get away selling this gadget for $149! Battery lasted much less than the claimed 12 hrs, (8-9hrs tops). Means you’ll be charging this thing several times daily if you plan on regular use. We have a cat who dissapears for days at a time which was the main purpose for this purchase. Aside from the weak battery, the app lost connection with our cat 2 out of the 3 nights he went out with it. On the 3rd night connection was lost and then the battery died leaving us clueless as to where our cat ended up! Tech support did their best but just couldn’t compensate for a bad product. As soon as he showed up a few days later I packed this piece of junk up and sent it right back where it came from. Much happier to pay a monthly service fee for a different (& cheaper) product when the trade offs include better connection and days worth of battery life. Good luck out there but I wouldn’t trust my pet to this product.
