Would not buy this again
The concept is fine, but the implementation is lacking. Even with a LOT of additional stakes (i.e almost every 10 inches) these forms still bulge out between staking points, resulting in a wavey final edge (which makes edging it really hard as well). If the plastic were a little thicker this would not happen. Also, the orange spacers are of limited value since they are in the way of screeding the concrete and really need to be removed when placing the concrete anyway I ended up cutting some wooden blocks that were just under 6" to use as jigs/spacers while pounding stakes in and then put the orange spreaders on to hold the the forms up until the concrete was placed - although once the stakes were in place, the orange things really were not doing much. If I knew then what I know now, I would have bought wooden stakes (which I needed anyway)and a sheet of 1/4 " fiber board or plywood (for $20) - then ripped the 3" forms from that. And I would have cut enough spacer blocks to hold them apart and just pulled those out while placing the concrete. It would have costed less and worked better (less bulging). Another thing - the instructions say that each 12' section requires a 60# bag of concrete mix. This is wrong. A 12' section requires roughly 3 80# bags or 5.5 60# bags. PAM cooking spray is a convenient way to grease the fiorms and makes removal a breeze.
