Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I've had two of these for a while, and if I'd written this review earlier, I'd have said they work very well. However, recently, one of them literally started burning up - I smelled burnt plastic and discovered a quarter-sized hole near the controls where it had it melted through the plastic. I have stopped using both and have discarded them and will notify Amazon. Don't know if anyone else has run into this, but my number one issue with any room heater is finding one I feel comfortable leaving on when I'm not in the room - certainly no longer the case for me with this one.
