I bought these sandals for my trip to Israel this past summer. It is comfortable, you can wear in the water and it will dry quickly and was great for walking in. However, a few days a purchase the enclosure around the ankle started rubbing on my ankle bone. I thought it might be too tight, but it wasn't. I had to use band-aids to stop the pain and then ultimately, had to stop wearing them and use only my sneakers--which was a shame, since I was in Israel in July! Hot! Hot! Hot! On the plus side. I called Teva -- since it was too late to return to Amazon and they will issue a credit and take them back. Great customer service on Teva's behalf. I'd definitely try another model!
