bought the bionic brand because it was advertised as a 5/8 in hose..T.hat is the outside diameter. The inside diameter is 1/2 inch like the sun joe brand.. The bionic also has both ends of the couplers reduced to about 1/8 in further restricting water pressure. The picture on the box did not match the product in the box. After several attempts to contact BIONIC , I was told they have no specific information on the hose size-only the length. I was referred back to amazon for any product details. I fell for the "I tricked you" sales pitch of mine is bigger than thiers. I sent it back without taking the hose out of the bag.
