I’m a designer and contractor-we remodeled dozens of bathrooms...with no issues like this one. This is my 3rd embather shower system. The first two were great. This one is NOT. There is supposed to be a temperature adjustment dial on the valve-cartridge itself (it’s the part that’s not visible while the trim plate on). This allows the plumber to adjust the amount/temp of hot water, when the shower is set to the hottest setting... but it’s still not hot enough. THERE IS NO ADJUSTMENT ON THIS VALVE!! When set to the hottest setting, the water temp is only 85°...and we can’t make it any hotter 😡 (Water heater IS set to Max and all other showers in the home AND the sink in the SAME bathroom are Hot!!!) AND....the Embather customer service phone number is disconnected so there’s no one to call or email for help! This is wrong. Will have to bust out expensive tile out and start over in order to get a new proper valve in the wall. DONT BUY!!!
