I bought these SoundTrue Headphones On-Ear direct from Bose to back up my 8 year old pair of Bose On Ear headphones. I was expecting the same sound quality and build quality as my old pair of Bose headphones. NO DEAL. These new SoundTrue headphones are such a drastic step down in both sound quality and build quality. I let my wife compare the old and new headphones back to back and she even noticed the difference immediately. The price point for my old Bose and these new ones is the same, so it was disappointing to see such a downgrade in quality. I ultimately bought new cushions for my old Bose headphones and returned these inferior SoundTrue things. See photo: Original Bose On-Ear Headphones on the left = highly recommended. New Bose SoundTrue Headphones on the right = major disappointment for Bose.
