I wish I had read the negative reviews. I bought these as they were amazon recommended. I ordered another pair at the same time from another amazon seller, and the difference is night and day. These are NOT made of the normal Havaianas rubber sole, which is hard, incredibly dense, and will not bend. That is why they are usually worth the money over any old flip flop. These provide none of the normal Havaianas support in the footbed. They will actually bend under your foot as you walk. The second pair I ordered came today, and in contrast, they have the normal rubber sole and straps. They also came in a brand bag, with two manufacturers tags and a sticker on the bottom of the sole. If you wave them both in your hands, this pair flops over easily in the middle, whereas the actual Havaianas won't bend and stay rigid. Also these straps have totally inferior plugs under the sole, which have already (have worn for about 6 hours) pulled down into the sole. The authentic pair I got today have raised plugs that are considerably thicker and raised from the bottom of the sole-see pics.
