11/7/2021 - Update After calling Amazon because the seller is concerned only of the rating and offered me $30 to remove my negative review, and chatting with PetKit customer service via email for over 7 weeks, the seller sent me another one. Well, I am not sure if I am out of luck but the second one is not working either. This one tells me there is no enough litter when in fact it is full. The automatic cleaning cycle does not work and when I initiate it, it get stuck saying a cat is approaching. No cat, just me on the sideline. At this point I really want to get rid of these 2 machines and get my money back! CUSTOMER SERVICE is a joke!!! When it works, it is great. It took about 2 weeks for my16 and 10 years old cats to get used to. It not that silent but I put mine in the laundry room near the kitchen, and with the door closed you do not hear anything. I use my normal litter and it it works great. The litter cleans very well and leaves no or minimal residual inside the machine. The drum is not heavy and easy to wash (not like the Little Robot). For about 2 months it was great. I purchased it because I am going to have a surgery next week and I will not be able to bend for a long time. Of course, the machine has decided not to function properly after two months I purchased it. I have contacted the customer support and after over 4 weeks my machine is still not working. They are working with me. Meanwhile, my surgery is coming and I have to set my normal litter boxes on the the kitchen table. :( I really hope I am going to change my rating or otherwise I spent too much money for nothing...
