I thought this set was so cute and cuddly. My ferret loved it and I loved watching his head pop out when I went downstairs. This week he wasn't acting like himself. Yesterday I noticed that he seemed very lethargic and wasn't touching his food. I made an appointment at the vet. This morning he was barely awake and I rushed him to the vet hours before our scheduled appointment. He was severely dehydrated and xrays showed a large piece of fabric in his intestines!! I found a huge hole in the blanket piece of this set (the one with the white balls) and after surgically removing it from his stomach, the vet confirmed that it was a large piece of felt/wool material! Our family has had ferrets & never experienced this before so our little guy is obviously a chewer. The morning after we brought our baby home, I found him dead in his cage! Today I'll be picking up his ashes. I'm writing this review as a warning to others. Ferrets are curious & get bored, they instinctively get into everything! I still can't believe he's gone because of an item sold as an accessory for ferrets! NOT WORTH THE RISK!!
