Tellicherry Peppercorns are defined as being greater than 4.25 mm in diameter. I measured a statistically significant sample of the peppercorns I received with a digital caliper accurate to .013 mm. Here are the number: Sample Size: 58 Peppercorns Average Diameter: 4.23 mm Median Diameter: 4.23 mm Standard Deviation: 0.54 mm Maximum Diameter: 5.39 mm Only 26 of 58 were Tellicherry size, 45% I expected all of them to be greater than or equal to 4.25 mm since their process is to shake them through a sieve with the right size holes. Pretty simple, right? Neither the average size or the median size or even a simple majority of these peppercorns were Tellicherry size. I gave them 2 stars because they are probably workable peppercorns, but I should give them 1 star for lying to the public. Judge for yourself. Now you have the numbers.
