With light use, this drive failed completey within 4 months of purchase. All data lost, and the drive cannot be repaired on either Windows or Mac. Note that Toshiba's warranty DOES NOT cover your data, and they are difficult to work with (unwilling to allow for warranty). DO NOT BUY THIS DRIVE. BUY A DRIVE FROM SOMEONE OTHER THAN TOSHIBA. UPDATE: I got a refund, but they only gave me half of the money I spent on the drive. Absolutely absurd. DON'T buy from Toshiba for your portable hard drive needs.
