Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I read a lot of memoirs and autobiographies and the writing is terrible.....it's nothing personal against the author but I don't believe parts of the first 5 pages which is all I could get through before deciding to return it. I work in the field of addiction and it seems like fabrication. The writing is not good, it's sensationalized for nothing other than shock value, mediocre and isn't even as good as a James Frey book which we all found out was compete BS but at least the story was good. Not everyone who is an addict needs to write a book, save your money and buy Girl Walks Out of a Bar, buy Scar Tissue, buy any of Mary Karr's books, but this is just awful. I'm sure there's an audience for it, obviously with the 5 star reviews.
