First one I bought broke but that was my fault, don't store these in deionized water. A good ph pen but I have some beefs with the company. I ordered another replacement for the one I broke. The one that arrived would not calibrate and I couldn't store it in solution for long term. I sent it back and got a replacement and realized there are two models for this pen. One with a o-ring by the bulb and another without. You can't store Hess wet without that o-ring seal. I'm attaching two pictures that show the differences. Should you get the one without a o-ring send it back and state you want he one with a o-ring. If you ask me this is some dirty pool by the company
