Not to be trusted
I work in public health and have no vested interest in grains, pharma or meat eating. But I am familiar with a lot of the epidemiological research Perlmutter discusses in this book and I can tell you he butchers it. This man cannot be trusted to give an accurate report of the research he cites. He may be right on some things but he simply makes up results to bolster his preconceptions. Do not trust anything in this book even if it does sound scienterrific and comes with footnotes. Many of the footnotes refer to articles that don't say what Perlmutter claims they do.
