SO Fake!
Like other buyers, I've purchased several pairs of Teva Mush (and Mush II) over the past years. I bought these orange ones at the end of last season figuring the low price was an end of season close-out. Now that I've put them on in Spring 2019, I agree with others who are calling these out as fakes. When you walk on the sandal, they have a cheap cloppy sound to the steps and Teva has never made a top foot layer that is spongy and almost considered fuzzy as on this shoe. Real Teva's (pic on the left) are solid and have a bottom layer that feels and sounds more like a sneaker hitting the ground than a flat 'slap' - notice the real Teva has a matte tire look to the sole and the fake (on the right) has a sheen to the cheap plastic. The ones I received are in fact not like the product picture (although that is disclaimed in the ad), the ad shows a real Teva, complete with brand label badge in heel, whereas the ones I have are 'embossed' with a logo simply pressed into the heel and the Teva tag in the fabric thong does not have a register trademark. The fake Teva (orange) is 2.9 oz and the real Teva (purple) is 4.1 oz! I wish I had read reviews before buying, the 1 stars are real. They are comfortable for general walking around but will definitely not stand up to the use that a real Teva would and surely will not be as safe on wet surfaces. I feel really ripped off! It's a shame Amazon lets' this continue. Boo!!
