I really like the head of this shovel, it works great cutting through sod and digs a nice hole for metal detecting. The handle however seems to be of low quality. The handle broke when the shovel fell over on the ground (while digging a hole in a green lawn). It has a "Lifetime Warranty", but Amazon won't exchange it and the manufacturer has yet to return my emails with instructions on how to get a repair or replacement. Until they answer, I'd advise you to stay away from purchases.
